About The Journey to Jannah Project

The creators of Journey to Jannah were inspired by their children's curiosity and willingness to learn. In response to their childrens' constant questions, they created a simple working version of Journey To Jannah to help their kids learn the deen and be able to objectively measure how much they understood.

"There are so many games/sports out there to choose from, you have baseball, soccer, tennis, video games, etc. The aim of each game/sport is to be the best", remarked one of the parents. So they took that idea a step further and said, "Well the real goal in life is not to be the best video game/sports player. The real goal in life is to enter Jannah." Pondering the idea further, they acknowledged that sound knowledge deeply seeded in a person's heart is what will drive their actions and help improve their manners and ultimately develop their sincerity to be good people.

They wanted to instill these values into their kids and the result of that experience is the Journey To Jannah web site (http://www.JourneyToJannah.com).

What started out with 2 concerned parents with backgrounds in Programming, Design, Psychology, and Education grew to include volunteers whose backgrounds span all occupations and levels of education.

We look forward to you joining our cause and helping us enhance this project further. With everyone's duas and support we look forward to helping all children & adults successfully reach their full potential on their Journey To Jannah, Ameen.

AA World,

We have been very busy developing Journey to Jannah v2.0 and have not had time to blog. So today we are going to try and catch up right now!

For those of you who are new to Journey to Jannah the url is http://www.journeytojannah.com/ .

Ok, well here are the most recent updates that come to mind:

#1: We have updated the Journey To Jannah Library at: http://www.journeytojannah.com/learningResources.asp . It includes some of the best learning resources on the net. All of the links have been hand picked are in one easy and convenient location.

#2: Inside the Library you will find 2 new articles that were written by our volunteers. The first one titled "Knowledge About Jannah" at http://www.journeytojannah.com/knowledgeAboutJannah.asp . This article contains some key ayahs related to those who will enter jannah and the trials of this life.

#3: The second article titled "The Second Pillar of Islam - Salah" at http://www.journeytojannah.com/salah.asp contains a very useful chart with all the Nafl, Sunnah, and Fard Rakahs of the 5 daily prayers.

AA Everyone,

This is our first post on Blogger for JourneyTo Jannah.com. We would like to begin with an introduction.

The Journey to Jannah begins with sound knowledge, steady practice, and sincere application in our lives. JourneyToJannah.com promotes the knowledge evalution aspect of this process through a fun, competitive and interactive online experience for all ages.

Questions vary in difficulty and range from Arabic, Seerah, Quran, Tajweed, Hadith, and Fiqh. The goal of the game being to obtain the highest score, in the least amount of time, with only 3 lives. Many will play and only a select few will rise to higher heights and complete the journey. Will you be one of them?

New questions are being added on a regular basis so new challenges constantly await you. May your intention be pure, may your feet stand firm, and May God be with you throughout your Journey to Jannah, Ameen.
